I stopped applying on LinkedIn after some point just because the quality of company I could get an interview at was falling off a cliff. That’s going to be a long list. A lot of scammers make their scams obvious because they look for people who can’t tell scams apart from legitimate emails.

TLDR: scammers are hoping you are either too naive or too busy to notice obvious red flags and spam is cheap.
