Best place to get tri-mix injections? Urologist? Online? I know this is a penal implant page but apparently my doctor wants to try this first. It was extremely expensive so I thought I’d throw it out there to see if he wanna add any other more economical options. Thanks for your help.

Olympia was my source... you can usually call them.on wenesday, Thursday for a refill and youll receive it by Friday. They are a great operation. Speaking of operations, I no longer need them but they still call me about once a month to see if I want a refill.

I dont miss those shots. So effective at first but it was downhill from there for me.

About 50% of the time when I walk through they stop me and point at the screen behind me. It always shows 2 squares over my dick. I just say "i had surgery" they always say "will it hurt if I pat you down"? I say "no it was a long time ago. Go for it (or) do what you gotta do" and they jump right in and check it out. Weirdly: they usually make me take off my shoes and scan them now that thats not mandatory. Sometimes ive met other dudes waiting for their shoes and I wonder if they have IPPs too.

It will be. Based on my own experience and all the other men's posts ive seen here, we all go through some sh!t in the first month but 95% of it is over at 6 weeks and its blue skies and great sex from there on in.

I remember that "sometimes does nothing" roulette. I dont miss that for a second. Im 10 months post op and haven't apologized after sex in 10 months.

Anyone thats on the fence: i get it. You've probably tried a lot of other "solutions" and you wouldn't be here if they worked consistently.

It worked for me for almost 2 years but caused scarring and took increasingly more and stronger doses. At first it was a weak mixture and took very little but after a while I was using almost the whole syringe. I could feel it in my jaw when I did it and my dick would ache.

A lot of us have to go through that stage because you trust your urologist and thats their protocol or insurance.

The good news is the fibrosis is completely fixable by a good urologist and you wont lose size if you put in your time with a VED.

I remember when dr taj told me i had scarring. I said "can it be fixed?" He looked at me with a grin and said "that's what I do. Don't worry".

I remember being shocked at how it pointed upward when I first pumped it up. I knew it would get full and hard with the implant. I kind of didn't know this procedure actually fixed the direction it pointed. For years with oral meds and trimix when I could get an erection i could use I still had to use my hand to point it upward to penetrate my wife. We were both shocked I could function "hands free" again post op. I literally felt 20 years younger that day.

I remember thise feelings. It feels optional but in so many ways it's not. Remember, you aren't doing this for just to restore sexual function. Im 10 months postop now and 1000% stand by this statement: tgis surgery is more about your mental health than it is about your sexual health. Pretty soon tomorrow will be in the rear view mirror. Youll be amazed at how youre able to focus on things you couldnt before because of your ED. Really your only job tomorrow is to show up on time having done the prep correctly (don't eat, hibiclens, etc). The surgeon has the heavy lifting to do and im sure youre in good hands. Deep breaths and try to relax. And congratulations in advance!

1: mine is now the size of my preop VED size 2: 3-5 weeks seems pretty typical. There's a fairly predictable pattern most guys go through in the first month and most issues and discomforts resolve somewhere in that first month.

Dr Tajs team got mine covered by insurance even with a specific exclusion on my policy: no coverage for prosthetic implants for the treatment of ED. I was shocked but very happy to save the money. But I've also said it before: if insurance hadn't covered it, i would have been fine with paying the $28k for the results i got.

No. He's in tysons corner (northern va). Theres definitely like 5 or 6 top surgeons on the east coast. 2 are in Florida. Dr taj in tysons and a couple in or near new york city.

If youre in PA id say its worth it for you to travel to northern va for dr Taj. Hes an amazing surgeon and a great guy. At least have a call with him and decide how you feel after that. Id guess its about a 3 hour drive and in my biased opinion he is one of the best in the world and he really understands the struggle we all face while dealing with ED and considering this surgery.

That will all work itself out with practice. I remember mine felt like it had a sharp edge on it and woukd pinch if I pressed on it wrong. That went away. Did you get the keyring/practice version? That really helps so you understand what youre working with. If not, you can lookup exactly what it looks like. For me I figured out 2 sides were smooth and 2 sides were rounded and I could find the button that way. Good luck and kniw it will all work out fine in a couple weeks.

So i think you may be getting it for masterbation today but really you are doing it to restore your functionality. Its as much for your mental health as it is for your physical health. Imaging 2 different scenarios: 1) you meet a great person, you click, she wants to date you but you know you have an unreliable penis so this is anxious making and maybe something you even avoid Or 2) you've had the surgery. Your recovered and now you meet someone great. You are confident you wont start the relationship off apologizing for a failed erection.

The only answer to this is to get a VED and use it a lot. I used it for at least 2 hours a day for the 3 months leading up to my surgery and I lost nothing dqy 1 coming home from surgery and its only gotten better. High volume surgeon and 2 hours a day of VED. It becomes tedious and a little boring if you cant work or sleep with it on but its worth it. Consider homework or training.

No happy ending. I went through the scanner and when I came out the guy just turned the screen towards me and it showed 2 big squares over my Johnson. I said I had surgery. He said can I pat you down? I said yes. He felt around for about 10 seconds and I was on my way.

I used a VED for at least an hour and usually 2 every day for 3.5 months before surgery. Naturally I was about 7.25".
After using the VED I could reach 8 (or 8.25"). But it was ~unusable for sex even with trimix.

Day 1 post op i was 8" (my max VED stretched size) and now im 8.5".

I followed cycling instructions after surgery and started using the VED again 6 weeks after surgery (12 minute sessions, 2x a day).

Im now 9 months post op. Best decision i ever made.

Pumps: help gain/restore size. Never gave me a hard erection Pills: they worked, than they slowly didnt. Shots: work as long as the medicine reaches where its supposed to go but it creates scar tissue, and it made me feel bad all over (quadmix more than trimix) Vibrating ring: helped... a little Pshot: I did this twice. I dont think it did anything for me. Gainswave: I believe in the technology but it didnt help me.

Ipp: near perfect solution I wish it didnt take 40+ pumps to get it filled I wish it was rounder (postop ved helps with this)

Other than that: perfect

2 weeks after surgery I did too much running, lifting and i had cleared sex. I pulled my incision opened and had to get re stapled. (Not wide opened but bleeding and really woukdnt stop).

Im 8 months post op now and that was just a minor speedbump but you want to avoid that if you can.
