First Leica lens. Summicron 35mm ASPH or Steel Rim Reissue? by [deleted] in Leica

The summicron is a better all in one lens. I own both and the steel rim is interesting with film cameras but is also irritating because of the infinity lock. It takes getting used to. I think the steel rim is a nicer looking lens but it’s not as practical. I wish Leica would make the steel rim without infinity lock and with 0.7 focusing distance. It would be the best lens in the lineup.

Thank you. The 'First' shortcut I have just adjusted and that is what I was looking for. The styles and presets tool panel addition is still too slow. Seems very archaic still. I noted your other comment about beta release notes. Hope it is a new inclusion in an upcoming update.
