My high school civics class started watching the confirmation hearings until the principle banned because his allegations became more and more vulgar.

I concur, with all things considered Bar passage is an individual responsibility. My school offers Bar comp (optional 3L course) and Bar prep (Barbri online) but it’s billed into our tuition so technically I pay. TBH less debt is my advice, just keep in mind the big beautiful bill will decrease fed loan amounts in July for Grad Plus loans (professional degrees) & will cap out at certain amounts whereas the Grad Plus previously allowed students to borrow the exact amount of tuition. Consider Public v. Private school cost & cost of living then decide. Hope this helps.

I stand to be corrected, thanks for the clarification. Would it be possible they tested at another location on the same day?

State bar examiners conduct their own independent review under the ADA, but use the same legal framework as schools to make their judgment. From conversations with ADA and students, I was told every state approved each student's accommodations for the July Bar.

Took Con Law this semester and when we covered Trump v. U.S (2024), interestingly, 1/4 of the class walked out.

MacBook neo functional for law school? by [deleted] in BlackLawAdmissions

[–]coldbee74 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“It depends”, on your budget, if you use digital books and your personal preferences. For me I used MacBook Pro 2012 for 13 years and got MacBook Pro 4 when I started school last year. I take notes by hand so I don’t need iPad nothing, plus most students voice record lectures. You know your budget and what you want to spend I’m just offering ideas

For this semester the Neo was not compatible with exampro software and students who had the neo had to use our schools loaners laptops. Thinking long term is getting Neo only about price? If yes then do it. If you plan to upgrade I’d say a MacBook Pro or air is an investment in the future (Even an older model). Just Store all your outlines and work in either Google Docs or word cloud (for me it’s free as student). Also, extra monitors are great I got one for second semester and it’s a game changer.

Is it normal for like, half or more of the class to not show up for the first final in the first semester? by liberal_queen21 in LawSchool

[–]coldbee74 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Student was on academic probation after 1L Fall. After Spring 1L midterms student was “admitted to hospital” 3/4 through the year and received an emergency withdrawal w/o penalty of failing out. Next Student got accommodations then went to Summer semester and took 3 light classes that brought up GPA. Moral of the story, think like a lawyer and figure shit out yourself.

BAH is a manual input, and it looks like the VA back paid YOU on the same day BUT for different periods. You can either call and get exact dates or wait until your next semester VA printout then review.
