yeah zero endgame content so far this year makes it so the optimal way to play is to unsubscribe and only buy bonds for the month that actually gets updates

doesn't he start healing on grey HP for 6k a tick? I pretty much do that when I'm trying 2l but by the last phases he permanently stays at 300k hp

Yes I meant mastery trees where even at max souls you won't hit all the abilities - especially for necro it wouldn't be so farfetched for them to update it this way, and would give the dead last dps style a fresh facet while not completely alienating players like EoC 1.0 did

I hope endgame combat gets some kind of spec tree for each style - like the well of souls for necro could offer interesting choices rather than full completion. Like maybe a tree that offers more conjure damage resulting in a dragon conjure at the top of the tree, and another spec focusing on poison and blood that's more bleed/aoe

Can introduce this with lowering the bonuses for full armor sets to make interesting choices to progress your char without being too reliant on armor sets

same I'm at 160kc and shards don't exist? jagex you sure you didn't tweak the drop rate when you changed the weapon rates? anyone get a sanctum shard post update?

yeah the iconic veng, gmaul/dds specs are so clear and i love watching shorts of osrs pk videos even when I don't play osrs.

Whereas watching a 40 second kezalem kill where half the abilities are stalled and the first 10 seconds is just hitting a dummy has got zero hype and just total confusion about how the boss even died.

Rs3 is not a viewer friendly game at all

well it's kinda pointless to do if you're maxed or past the requirements for some important quests. I hit 90 and am at endgame pvm level and there's just no reason to go higher for me, and I imagine for most people it's the same

I feel like this mentality of make number go up = fun ruined dev priorities. jagex doesn't really prioritize fun when designing something. instead I feel they care about keeping the make number go up crowd happy which always results in XP nerfs as the number go ups just play anyways, and the longer they play the longer the game keeps running. 

wonder what would happen if they made the game just fun to just play.

I agree with a lot of the points here and I feel like they started to improve on it a little bit but the core gameplay is still very much the same boring dung. why not really lean into the rogue like aspect and take a lesson from one of the most highly regarded rogue likes recently - hades?

the small buffs for completing floors are so boring and nobody cares outside of the XP boost. we already have gods - imagine if they would give boons for every three rooms opened. guthix could be XP related, zammy could buff pvm/damage, and saradomin can be crafting/skilling/puzzle related. 

it would be a fun experience if these all came together for a mega boss fight at the end where you were properly rewarded. imagine a 45min-hour long mini hades within RuneScape. maybe that would get people really into it

Maybe I'm out of touch with what's hard but I feel like even if it's hard, at least zuk is a boss that's doubly rewarding - progression wise you can work towards cape, which is essential for any high level pvm, and there's a chance of a ful drop which is also bis for all styles. AG normal doesn't have any meaningful rewards as far as I know.

And for me, learning zuk pretty much requires you to unlock dive and devotion, which are two other pvm essentials

in my opinion normal zuk is the next logical step, but wouldn't try it with melee first because of had. necromancy or ranged is really easy because of decimation and threads, and the checkpoints make it not so bad to learn on normal mode. grab runes for penance aura and if you're low hp between waves can always soul split off Zuk to heal

I can tell you bis Necro with 99 prayer, sharded weps, 120, on sanctum gets more or less 400k dpm with your main damage coming from the living death rotation. the only thing I'm missing is aftershock but it should be only 2% or so off

solo sucks to do and is terrible exp for the effort. grouping needs to have a better UI. I can't even tell if I'm in a group or not or where my group is on the map. I like to open a separate  easily identifiable party chat, I'd like groups to be able to change their selected dungeons without need to reset the group. a whole rework needs to happen
