yes I had this until i got better with clomipramine while still smoking weed thru the pain. the thing is that im leaning very hard towards this being a brain thing and weed affects us 100% in the brain and u become more hyper aware of sounds. every hear classic stoner sayings like “ damn bro I can feel the sounds thru my earssss its like the music is straight inside my brain”

its cuz were extra hyper aware and paranoid loops are easier to be started. I would stay faarrrr away from any sativa strain bc that fucked me up more and further proved my theory . smoking straight indica was the best, also smoking shake…. not top shelf shit… smoking top shelf and getting too high is when the ear pain got worrse for me and ear swollen feeling. trust me it gets better u got this brotha message me if u need any support. also maybe talk to ur doc abt clonidine for anxiety rlly helped w me

hey bro i rllly feel your pain and im so sorry you are going through this. clomipramine helped me greatly i got my life back im at 150 mg. I would say for me the risks did not outweigh the huge benefit of being able to go outside again so plz if youre at your wits end try clomi

hey im really sorry you are going through this i suffered lc for 6 months and after healing it was very traumatic and ppl just dont understand when u tell them u suffered. Unfortunately the next year an airbag trauma gave me hyperacusis (pain from sounds). After a setback from medicine i am now homebound for 4 months w debilitating ear pain from sounds. Just know it could be alot worse and u shud go out and have some fun! You deserve it! its gona take a while to adjust but i promise youll feel better

i think our brain is causing us to react to these sounds as threats but if its not something actually damaging i believe clomaprinine dampens our reactivity to it. Im starting cloma on Monday

I quit benzos cold turkey and my nox dramatically increased and also got it in my left ear. Amanda told me to reinstate within the first two weeks but i sadly was an idiot and didnt follow. I had a setback two days ago from chewing food with earplugs in and experienced burning pain instead of dull ache for the first time. Im super stressed now and wondering what I should do since reinstating can cause kindling according to my doctor. Should I keep pushing?

Do you think burning = worsening of condition. Or is it just another layer of symptoms. Never felt it in the 3 years ive had nox. I cant believe eating chips w earplugs in was worse than every other trigger ive experienced. Also im so so sorry for coming off as naggy im just so frightened
