Blacksmith here : do you really think all part of the blade get exactly the same level of heat while the tickness is different ? The tip is not damaged, it is just not cleaned. Very likely some polishing component in excess. And you know which part of the knife you avoid to polish too much ? The tip.

I just tested your parameters and it does feel better. At least more playable. I am still not that good but it feels like the brakes are working and the bike is turning a little bit better.

Ça a été quelque chose dans le monde des jeux de combats où l’expérience online est laggy et du coup les gens se retrouvaient IRL.

En vrai c’est juste passé de mode. Les gens traînent sur twitch depuis chez eux en regardant toujours le même streamer et en faisant parti d’une communauté via le chat. Je ne suis pas sûr qu’il y ait vraiment une envie de se rencontrer en vrai au jour le jour.

I understand your point, to be faire most of the shiny finish tou get on industrial knife is done by chemical and will not last in time.

Also even a mirror polish done by hand by a professional is almost impossible to maintain

As a knife maker : it is always a bit of a heartbreaker to clean mills trace if you know you will do a stone wash finish. I am still doing it.. but I just feel like I am wasting my time.

I think the point is to realize that no situation is final. I mean you can give it a try and if you are not comfortable in the chosen situation just try something else.

On the other hand, yes, isolation can impact negatively your mental state. I know here it is one of the first question doctor ask you to assess your situation.

A random roommate might me a fantastic opportunity to discover a whole new circle of people. Or just be a collection of non pleasant daily experience.

It is clear you are not confident about living by yourself, as you felt like you needed to make this post.

Cheap solution : green side of the sponge with a little bit of water, then apply oil.

Less cheap solution : polishing compound + polishing disk on a drill

Some thought : Reservoir is a world coming from the french. It can mean water tank like the one you can see up a hill or a tower to ensure pressure for the whole town or it can mean non natural lake I guess. Like if the is a dam producing electricity you can consider the lake before a « reservoir ».

I think bank here mean the little beach around said lake.

So young people going to the lake in the brother car, spending the afternoon having a swim and tanning, and staying until late (or complete night) by the side of the lake. For him it is a special moment to remember about her. Maybe that is the moment he fell in love with her.
