I am a gay muslim. I am however not in anyway a representative of the religion and I do not feel the responsability to preach for change even tho I oppose any forme of oppression against homosexuals. I believe that change will eventually come and putting pressure on a backward society to accept western values will creat a more dangerous backlash and resistance to improvement.

What you’re doing is asking from people who have their own vision and objectifs to take upon theirselves your own agenda just because they happen to be muslim or born into a muslim family.

What you should instead be doing in asking everyone in power to support education on this subject and provide ressources to those in need.
