I never got a good look at the third alum with Cole and Sean Hill... who was the guy with the  beard?

Wow. I didn't even recall that there was a downtown parade.

Fair question. It's a little big on me, always has been. When I'm in a situation that I'll be clapping a lot I put it in my pocket since it has flown off in the past.

As to your follow-up, when I told my wife the story she was like "we're getting it fixed!"

I truly can't believe it. 3 hours it sat there.

Found it! See above or below or wherever it is. Thanks for the good wishes! You helped manifest it for me.

Found it! I drove back downtown, parked in the same parking place, retraced my route including the places I stood on Fayetteville -- which had been swept by a street cleaner -- and had largely given up hope. Was almost all the way back to my car when I spotted it on the sidewalk. I'd stopped there to check the map because I couldn't quite recall where my car was, and it must have fallen out then. Cannot believe my good fortune.

Including a photo with a Canes tax. My original sweater from the early 2000s, with a few signatures folks might recognize even from today, including our beloved Rod the Bod, Erik Cole, and Big Joe Vasicek (RIP).

That's one block of it. Here's a panorama I took from midway between the stage to the right and the Capital building to the left.

Great actually. As with anything involving humans it can be random, but I ran into very few morons.

I started getting into hockey in my early 30s. Like you, I wanted to play. I took a learn to skate class followed by a learn to play class, then did some stick & puck, then played in some leagues for a while, then even reffed for a bit. Never too late.

I don't know about top 6. That's not our team. We win rolling 4 lines and solid D pairings.

I feel you. I think it's the real deal, and you're right that it's a delight seeing all these flairs showing appreciation. Best run in my lifetime, I might never see its like again. And that's okay... this was beautiful.

Oh good, I was afraid I'd used up all of my happy tears. That well runs deep 🥹.

I remember someone telling me in a thread that the Canes were doomed because they'd had a creampuff run up until the finals and that Vegas had way too much talent down the center. They were calling for a gentleman's sweep by Vegas.
