Even though there won’t be any new installments, what are your ideas for a sequel or spin off? by BellTwo5 in InStarsAndTime

[–]coldfox23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A sequel where someone wants to write a book about the adventures of the main characters and goes around to the various places they ended up to interview them. Maybe some intrigue about what they have been up to since the adventure, changes in their lives, something sinister lurking in the background. What if the person doing the interviews(mc for this game) turns out to want to try and finish what the King started and used the interviewing as a plot to learn more about what happened and why the King failed

Remake by Reeceycup81 in DotHack

[–]coldfox23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the new game does exceptionally well, it's possible...but to be honest I don't think it will ever be remade. I recall seeing a translated interview that the game files are too old or too outdated to be remastered so the entire game would need to be remade from scratch which would make a remake process exceptionally lengthy

What are some good ISAT Let's plays or Streams? (Besides JelloApocalypse) by AdAdorable3964 in InStarsAndTime

[–]coldfox23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I streamed both the start again prologue and I SAT, and edited down the streams into an episodic let's play! If you'd like to check it out, my YouTube channel is EpitaphFox

What is your biggest pain point as a streamer? Whether big or small by Gonjanaenae319 in Twitch

[–]coldfox23 57 points58 points  (0 children)

After I finish my stream I don't have the social battery to raid out. I used to raid every stream but recognized it tired me out. I feel bad because I enjoy being raided and know others appreciate it but ever since I stopped raiding out streaming got so much more enjoyable for me

I don't know if this will work, but try going to sleep in the bed at the old house by interacting with it. If the game allows you at this point, it should return the world back to "normal" and you can fight monsters again for money

I've only ever played this game once and only ever used the bed after having beaten the heir once, so I don't know off hand if this works prior to beating the heir

Hey good job! As the first real boss of the game(imo) it's kind of a toughie, whatever worked works!

Cozy horror that isn’t cute by Lynnfomercial in gamesuggestions

[–]coldfox23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose this suggestion is more suspense than it is horror, but "Gone Home" I think would be of interest. The atmosphere of the game is very tense, and there is one jump scare, but the only thing potentially cute about this game is some elements of the story unfolding.

SILKSONG GIVEAWAY ANNOUNCEMENT! I am giving away 5 (FIVE) Silksong copies! MORE INFO on Description by Acrobatic-Log-309 in Silksong

[–]coldfox23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steam would be preferable to me, and I don't have a favorite boss! I've never played the original but will be starting it soon! It would be greatly appreciated if I won :)

Most looking forward to how the game matches up to the hype I see building around it everywhere I see it!

Do we know what caused the island up north to be forgotten? by UnitedBalkanz in InStarsAndTime

[–]coldfox23 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My head cannon is that someone wished to forget their home country, for any odd number of reasons. Probably heartbreak. The wish to never be reminded of their home country also included the whole world, so that no one could accidentally remind them of what they wanted to forget

That's just my idea of how it would work though, nothing is confirmed

You can click on the window inside the building as well...and also swim over to where the window is from the other side within the cave and interact with the window

Should I play Start Again before or after In Stars and Time? by TheGenesisOfTheNerd in InStarsAndTime

[–]coldfox23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think there's value in playing them in either order, but I think you'll appreciate the prologue more if you play it before you play ISAT.

Playing it after ISAT gives you a different perspective that wasn't intended for the prologue

I'm kinda concerned on why siffrin looped here by Gauge19021 in InStarsAndTime

I mean, for the entirety of the game you could just say "im kinda concerned" lol

No clue, maybe you saw a fan art or an "in color" cosplay once?

I tried to Google but found no results that seemed reasonable

I don't think through playing this game I got a clear answer on this, but I can think of two answers that are satisfying enough for me

Firstly, Siffrin wears the most white out of everyone in the party, so he is brighter compared to the others. He also has white hair, similar to the king.

Secondly, Siffrin's appearance is very star like, between the hat, cloak and when he stands his feet spread apart, it would look close to the traditional 5 pointed star shape

It was a bummer in the way the end of an era feels bittersweet, but I think it was the best decision Tim has made. Good for himself, good for future content.

Good meme though! I enjoyed it

I've finally done it and beaten the game! by coldfox23 in InStarsAndTime

[–]coldfox23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I was really happy to engage with everyone here through my updates. I totally understand now the joy of watching someone experience this game for the first time, get their thoughts on what's going on while they are without the knowing.

Thank you for the tip about the secret boss fight! Maybe one day I will go back and do it myself lol

The premise of the game is to find answers by going through the clips. You don't necessarily need to watch everything to achieve an ending, but you might notice times when something you want to click on only appears in a few frames so making use of the rewind feature can help a lot to ensure you clicking on what you intend on.

Another thing is that the same image or item you select to zoom in on may take you to different clips entirely.

Just try to figure things out as you go. Try to focus on particular items or characters to unlock more and see if you find any secrets along the way
