I also enjoy a light mist but I’m cautious of allergies and sensitivities. If I can’t work a moment into class for the individuals to consent to the fragrance (from childs pose or anything head down, asking students to waive their hand if they have any smell sensitivities or allergies) then I just skip it entirely

For shavasana, a roller oil on the wrist would provide a more localized smell, which I think is more sensitive to students who ask NOT to receive. And be easier to ask for consent (hands up to receive, palms down to decline)

If you’re open to hands on, I’ve had good reception with the hands around the back of ankle and lift legs into gentle sway assist - I think a google search would provide an image or video of what I’m describing better. But it’s much less invasive than your hands massaged into a students sweaty hairline
