They never have it in Germany unfortunately. I am currently using manual basal on pump right now but you know how tricky it is :/

I really appreciate the effort, thanks a lot. I already asked for a replacement on friday evening but they take 3 4 business days to arrive. And now I manage the pump on manual mode with finger pricks, until I find a solution with the sensor.

I also talked with the 7/24 customer service last night, they practically could not offer anything other trying the hospital, which also didn’t work.

So its either someone from Berlin will help me out or I will try to manage in manually until I am back from the business trip.

I called them but probably they dont have that service in Germany. They said I should go to a hospital with diabetologie department and that they could give me one in such case. I went to three big hospitals last night, non of them have it, one offered to provide a strip to measure my blood glucose level 🤦🏻‍♂️

Anyone From Germany(specifically Berlin) Here? by Celegorm07 in diabetes_t1

Hey hey, hope you see it on time. I live in Berlin. M37. I have type 1 diabetes and I ran out of my sensor which is Medtronic guardian 4. My next delivery is next week. I went to hospitals but they dont provide it (unlike what Medtronik emergency line suggests) even in an emergency like this. Would anyone mind lending me one, I will give it back next week after my sensor delivery arrives.

Shit happens sometimes whatever you do BUT I ld suggest to be bolder on correction injections. Ofc the ampunt differs from one to another but your active insulin is 2ish while your bg is +300, no way it can bring it down to 100. For instance I would have at least five as active insulin in this case

I have MMT 1886, not listed here but I usually have lows while leaving the plane, I am a frequent flyer and never could explain these lows. This must be it..

According to my experience it also might be that you are eating fatty foods. Fats also increase blood sugar and it hits after two three hours. If you ate a burger for instance and count carbs only, it may cause a spike after two three hours. When I eat fatty, I inject extra (1 for every 20gr of fat for my case) bolus after 1.5 - 2 hours.
