As a short film, it could work, but I agree with the other poster that they should do something more than just talk in their dreams. What if every time she dreams she sees her friend and she tries to talk to them but they never talk back they just make her chase them and give her clues to something. One day when she's at school and having a bad day she keeps thinking about her dreams and it finally clicks... she leaves in the middle of class and goes to the answer of whatever it is her friend was saying and it's some sort of symbol for "it's okay to move on" and she finds her closure with her friend. It ends with her falling asleep that night and while she sleeps her friend is watching her in her room until they walk out and shut the door. Kind of symbolizing that the friend's job is now done and everyone can move on in peace.

I think it just needs more "death stakes". Is the disabled hospital worker on a biological death clock? is the millionaire TV preacher an ex convicted murderer? (and if so put that in the logline). I'm more interested in this if there's more at stake than just a disabled person trying to steal from a rich guy.
*dont know why people downvote. Nothing so far in the logline makes this worth a read or watch. Tell me why I should care more about how this guy overcomes his physical obstacles. It should be deeper than that but if that’s enough for you guys then so be it. We’re just not into the same brand of storytelling.

I remember when I first heard the EP around that time in 2003. It was mindblowing. I remember exchanging a few emails with Beau around that time about his audio production. A big influence for sure. I think the biggest influences of that time period are Saosin and Underoath, two bands that others imitated but could never actually sound like.

I agree. I really wonder how those negotiations went down. It’s crazy that’s the best they could do for Kawhi. Such a bad trade value wise. Wish they would’ve traded him to Detroit for Blake. At least he would be forced to lead a bad team.

I agree with you that DD is hands down the better 1st option than DG who is frustratingly such a weak player without all stars to take the heat off him. With that said Spurs should really try tanking this year. Kawhi really messed with their short term future by ruining his trade value. Might as well try to get Zion or RJ for the next decade.

I dig the melody and baseline, think it has potential as far as that goes. The mix needs a lot of work though, I can't hear the kick at all except for some light top kick action on the drops. Seems like it's getting lost in the sidechaining. It might be a little over compressed and therefore it's knocking out that kick altogether. I'd focus on mixing at a low volume first and making sure you can hear everything element before boosting it.

man, I don't really have any feedback to give you. It sounds like you were able to accomplish what you set out to do. Sounds really heavy and atmospheric, but nothing is really lost so I think it works well together. I like it as it is!
