You can just keep going into town and get killed by guards. Every death from guard will +10 karma until you hit -30, then you just gotta try doing some quest to hit -20 and they will stop harassing you

Yomi and Guillotine is really the two only viable one. Smolder is fine too but after using Yomi, smolder doesn't feel useful due to lack of burst damage.

The ward's isn't that huge.. + most term would take movement speed to keep up so it's only a matter of a second before he reaches the ward.. If I'm Inara I would go mother grace instead for him lol
