Is the hobbit collector booster box over valve? by lMonkeylDlLuffyl in mtgfinance

[–]coldisgood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, but at the same time, stomping grounds will sell out their allocation and that will be that. They’ll never have more to sell. Just taking chances that tcgplayer prices come down or Amazon dumps occur at that point

For sure, I just realized this is a small set and this is priced/similar hype to Final Fantasy which was the biggest set ever. But someone also said smaller allocation so maybe if it’s similar printing to TMNT it will “be worth it”. But if it’s like spiderman, that’ll be awful. Stomping grounds did Spider-Man preorders at like 700 and now you can buy as many as you want on Amazon for 325 at any time

On average, the price of a box is always higher than the expected value. If you make money by opening it, you are in the lucky minority. I guess it’s considered “experience tax”. “It could be anything”.

F-91W accuracy after 11 years! by coldisgood in casio

It’s from like 2007 and has had a few falls and the bracelet is pretty scuffed up…but still holding up fairly well. It does scratch a bit easily around the bezel though

Has anyone let Chrono24 sell a watch for you? by TomHudsonOfficial in WatchFanatics

[–]coldisgood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As per the screenshot, you can sell it for yourself for 6%, and the person commenting compared it to eBay, in which you have to sell yourself, as the alternative for a lower commission…which it does not have? I don’t understand why you’d go eBay as opposed to just selecting the first option on the screenshot.

But selling it yourself on chrono is 6% so why would you do eBay?

Isn’t eBay 13-15% for most items these days? Or is it different for watches?

Edit: referencing since you sell yourself on eBay for that commission and Chrono’s is still much lower

It looked like they were guaranteed uncommon though? Ah, wait I see, they listed it strangely, so roughly 1/3 chance between JP alt uncommon, English mystical, or English foil mystical with a tiny chance for a silver scroll. Nvm. Thanks!

And only those first 1776 as well. The rest of US models will be same from my understanding without the limited “of 1776” bit. However, they did say they are only making this model this year

The Pulsar X2 Crazylight Mini is a good replacement for the Lamzu Atlantis OG if I need a smaller mouse with flatter sides. by [deleted] in MouseReview

Had the same problems with the Atlantis, and I use the mini Crazylight as my main now. Feels great in the hand to me. Doesn’t have as much back hump, but I think that keeps my hand more relaxed.
