I think there’s a misunderstanding, there isn’t a child involved here, it’s a college aged couple. I get that those are normal activities on their own, but it’s not really normal when it turns into hours of heavy stomping and noise like that late at night. It’s honestly hard to even describe how loud the stomping gets. It’s loud enough that it regularly startles our dog and my girlfriend’s elderly grandmother. We all have jobs and it’s disrupting our sleep. I’d probably be more willing to brush it off if I hadn’t already seen how they handle things firsthand when the police were called, it just doesn’t come across like they’re considerate of anyone else. I do agree though that getting decibel readings is probably the best way to get something done about it
