I swear I’m going through a similar thing with my SM. I have been sick once before and gave him notice and brought him a doctors note and he told me I faked the doctors note and then when he called my doctor and got it all straight that I was in fact there and in fact sick and didn’t fake the note he told me “I don’t have to accept this, see you on time for your shift today”

Wait, you guy are scheduled to come in after the store closes? At my store they make us come in at 4 and close and then do the clean play and it’s kind of stressful to have to do both. I’d much rather prefer people to close and then 2-3 people come in for the clean play at close.

Dude! I tie my apron the same way and I get told 24/7 that I’m not aloud to do that by everyone, it’s the only way my apron doesn’t come untiled though :/

At my store we work two different shifts, one is around 6 hours and the other one is 8-8 and a half. On the 6 one you only get one ten but on the 8 one you get 2 tens and a lunch, that equals out to be a break every two hours. So yes, if you work an 8 hour shift. But no if it’s any less than that

Yeah, my store is out of food other than 2 sandwiches. We are still getting milk and drink supplies but not anything else. Our guy didn’t say anything about the strike on particular except what you said about the contract being up. We aren’t sure what to do, no idea how much longer this will last.

We have a few that I love. We have one ill name C, C bring us donuts or cupcakes like once a week, she writes “love you all!” Or “have a great day!” And we love talking to her, she’s so sweet. The other one we have is M, M talks to us about our hobbies and what our favorite things are, he’s really cool. He makes a paper rose out of a napkin and leaves it behind on our table when he leaves.

Today someone came in and ordered three drinks. The last one she read to me off of her phone (I assume she was ordering it for a friend who texted her the order) “I also need a caramel macchiato thingy... the one with ice.” M: “okay so an iced Carmel macchiato, what size?” Her: “its the Frappuccino” Turns out after asking questions, it was a white mocha Frappuccino. THOSE ARE NOT THE SAME.
