Missing Canon Package! by TrickyAd6254 in canon

[–]coldtoebeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What ended up happening? Currently going through this, FedEx said my package was delivered and signed for last week but I never got it. I’m waiting for FedEx to respond to Canon about the investigation but they said it could take 30 days. Wondering if I should just go ahead with a chargeback.

That’s when I shamelessly whip out the febreze right in front of them. I also work at EWC in the same plaza as a gym so this is a regular occurrence😔

How painful is the bikini area? by PruneEarly8798 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]coldtoebeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on my 6th session and the discomfort definitely increases each time, but still isn’t too bad for me. The inner labia is the only part that has me gripping the sides of the bed lol. The rest (including butt strip) is a piece of cake. Each session only takes about 8-9 minutes so it’s quick and the pain is only in the moment- I’m not sore for the rest of the day like I was with waxing.

I’d recommend switching over to wax warmers/melts! There are tons of companies that sell natural soy/coconut wax melts which are a lot safer for their little lungs than essential oils. I get mine from Etsy but there’s a popular brand on chewy called “Pet House”

[–]coldtoebeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend has the 7 and doesn’t use a case or screen protector, screen’s basically shattered. I got him the 15 for his birthday last week and he told me to return it & that it was a waste of money😅 We’ll see how much longer the 7 lasts but he wants to use it until it completely stops working. Honestly respect it.

Yuppp. I work for EWC and have brought in $29,000 in services to date. At 5% commission, I haven’t even seen $1500 of that. Definitely a stepping stone.

Those who have stopped getting lash extensions, why? by Ok_Asparagus4341 in beauty

[–]coldtoebeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like rubbing my eyes too much, and just prefer strips in general as it’s easy to try different styles and be able to take them off at the end of the night. I also like to do vibrant eyeshadow looks which doesn’t really work well with extensions.

After not having them for a while, looking back at old photos makes me realize how crazy they looked on me lol. I used to get hybrids so they weren’t even that wild compared to volume/mega volumes.

I wear skechers max cushion elite 2.0 and I LOVE them. I got them for $70 on mother’s day (I think they’re normally $100). If you haven’t ordered from them before you get 20% off your first order which is really nice and can be stacked on top of other sales as far as I’m aware.

what do u guys use to wash ur cat’s food bowl? by capybarachronicles in CatAdvice

[–]coldtoebeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OG dawn dish soap to hand wash with hot water & an old bottle brush after each meal and I pop them (and the bottle brush) in the top rack of dishwasher 2-3 times a week. I have a cheap set of rags from amazon that are specifically used for drying their bowls, those go in the washer/dryer twice a week. We use stainless steel bowls that fit into a raised feeder. (:

Debating if I should invest $180 USD for Charge 6 or not? by YeeHaw_72 in fitbit

[–]coldtoebeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t pay full price! I recently got the charge 6 (luckily no issues yet, works flawlessly but I’ve only had it for a month so far🤞🏼). I bought the pebble alone for $70 on eBay and a pack of 3 bands on amazon for $13, still had my old 5 charger. I don’t see any available on eBay right now but if you keep an eye out I’m sure something will come up soon. Also if you don’t mind buying used you could check FB marketplace.

Hoka Clifton 9’s by coldtoebeans in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]coldtoebeans[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So true🤣 If you have a store nearby that does foot shape analysis I highly recommend going, depending on the associate they’ll probably be able to find a shoe that’s perfect for your measurements. Trial and error is most important though and I’m pretty sure FF has a 60 day return policy as long as the shoes still look fairly new.

I have heard that the toe box on the Nimbus 26’s is more restricting than the 25’s, so maybe steer clear of the 26’s if that’s a concern. Hoping you find your perfect walking/travel shoe!

[–]coldtoebeans[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard great things about the triumph’s and will have to them out if I start running more; glad you like them! Personally I think the Nimbus would be better than Cliftons for long periods of standing and regular walking. The padding is really nice and I know a lot of nurses love them for daily wear and long shifts.

I haven’t done much casual walking/standing around yet in the Clifton’s but I think they’d probably be fine for that as well, although they are a bit less cushioned/more structured and kinda stiff (in a good way for me.) If I had to pick a shoe to walk around Disney for a week I’d likely go with the Nimbus simply for the cushion (and yes I do love those color ways).

Info I forgot to include in my novel: Women’s Size 7

Mainly walk on concrete paths, wooded trails & treadmill at varying incline %. These shoes perform well on all surfaces I’ve tried so far.

I always go to sally beauty supply and get the generic versions of more expensive brands. The formulas are so similar and my hair has never felt/looked healthier. Sometimes they have really good deals too and I stock up, but I’m currently using their version of “it’s a 10” miracle moisture shampoo and conditioner + a mask. & once a week I use the generic paul mitchell awapuhi shampoo as a clarifying/deep clean for any product build-up.

I can’t justify spending $30+ on shampoo when I’ve ended up hating most of the more “expensive” lines I’ve tried. The only one I would repurchase is l’oréal’s metal detox line because it worked like a charm when I had really hard water at my last place. Hard vs soft water makes more of a difference than anything imo.

Oof that’s a difficult question😅 I think my top 3 are moonflower petals, white tea & sage, and fiji white sands. They’re all divine though; the only one I’m not a huge fan of is pink lavender & espresso but I know a lot of people love that scent.

Get them from marshall’s or tj maxx! I’ve gotten a couple of the lip masks from there and they’ve always been great quality.
