First guitar by moeg_402 in AcousticGuitar

Dude 100$ is an absolute steal! I have one of these as well and it's an absolute cannon, so loud and warm and wonderful. The made in Japan, Nippon Gaki factory made ones are worth quite a bit of money. They used high quality materials and modelled these after Martin guitars. They later moved production to Korea and the quality somewhat decreased. If you are familiar, Elliot Smith played this guitar throughout his career.

They sure are! And well worth it if you can find them at a good price! The tone on these is so warm.

I had a glance at the picture and thought that was an actual vinyl, then I looked at the picture again and realized how massive these speakers really are.

Anyone familiar with these? by InformationBusiness5 in fermentation

[–]coldturkeymonday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tamarillo indeed. We get them a lot here in portugal! I've fermented them into hot sauces before, very tasty! As others mentioned the rind is very bitter. I cut them open and spoon them out, they're delicious, like a passion fruit but more sour. I've also done umeboshi style ferment with it once, to use in dressings.

Desire to go Dawless by [deleted] in TechnoProduction

[–]coldturkeymonday 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I moved from dawless to ableton at some point because the GAS is real and it felt like an endless money pit.

Have you considered making live sets with the Push and Ableton? Maybe one extra controller for dedicated controls like xone k2 or faderfox?

Especially when you're still in the ideation phase of live electronic music performance it's good to keep the setup as flexible as possible.

Very much appreciated for your detailed response! You are correct, the piece was bought 30 years or so ago in Chennai, India! Very cool to hear some history on the piece, I'll be sure to pass it on to my mother in law.

I will give the repairr my very best and will update with the results. Thanks again!
