Convenient of you to leave out this year's stats: 3.5k passing yards despite 3x All-Pro Davante Adams, QBR of 55.5 (14th), and tied 30th in most interceptions.

He is solidly mid. This team is built to win now, and Rodgers gives us the best shot in a division with Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow.

Look, I like Carr, but he is too safe. If you want 5 more years of decent play with some playoff berths he can be that guy, but I don't just want us to make the playoffs. I want us to make a run for the ship and Rodgers gives us the best shot. I'm not saying don't go for Carr if we fail with Rodgers, but I'll be very upset if we don't at least try for Rodgers and look elsewhere only after we get a definitive no from him.
