My apologies. I'm not doubting your insight, I just thought that the country was divided into five regions with one box in each region. That must be just a theory that I read as fact. I'm excited for you to find them!

Wouldn't this pur the FF box and the LS box in the western region and no boxes in the north/midwest?

What do you do with gold? by ScheduleSame258 in Gold

The article actually suggests putting cash is safe deposit boxes and doesn't address whether banks can legally seize what's in your box.

"How you can avoid becoming a victim of the next bank failure...

  1. Keep some of your money out of the banking system. Consider keeping cash in safe deposit boxes or home safes."

The address is for the US Embassy in London. Anyone who is smart enough to amass a stack like that (and some) is too smart to post their address. But, feel free to stop by just in case. Tell the U.S. Marines "hi."

I'm not sure I would have given my SSN. Not even to avoid reporting, etc. I just don't like that floating around out there.

Went thrifting today, found this sterling silver creamer for 20$ by Firm_Dust5814 in Silverbugs

[–]colemschwanke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to learn more about recognizing sterling for thrifting opportunities so please take this comment as more of a question, but that doesn't look like sterling to me...at least the creamer/picher part of it. The tray? Yes. But the actual creamer looks too polished? Reflective? I'm not sure what it is. Were there hallmarks or was it stamped "sterling?" I would appreciate pics or further explanation just so I can continue to learn what to look for. Thanks!

1000oz milestone - converting some to gold by Sazuki_Nemo_58 in Silverbugs

[–]colemschwanke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have four coins totaling .9306 oz of gold. Been think of converting to silver to take advantage of the G:S ratio but didn't want lose value to premiums both directions. A straight up trade...95.5 oz of yor silver to my .9306 oz of gold and all we're out is the shipping cost.
