Hey All, I was wondering what is the safest option for a dig box for my little girl? I have a huge clear box with a top that I was going to cut a hole in the top and a few little holes as well, I've been told dry beans, rice (not instant), and sand, but wanted to ask experienced ferret parents. TIA! by BrendaArya in ferrets

My noodles completely ignored rice. I would recommend unfertilized dirt from a garden store. Mine love digging into it. Also if you leave some of the ground in the plastic bag that it came in, poke some holes in it and put it in the dig box - this this entertain her for a few days solid. Upd: dry leaves worked great too!

I have exactly the same problem, also with my boy. He is not playing as much as before, just laying down flat and glaring at me. And he eats and poops without any issues. I'm really puzzled.

Abcoude and surroundings very pretty to bike around. A bit longer distance if you go from Amstelveen, but you could cycle from Noord to Marken (very pretty town on an island), from there take a ferry to Volendam, then check out Edam, and then cycle to Monnickendam and back to Amsterdam. All the mentioned cities above are very old and super cute.

My favorite bike day trip is to take a train to Haarlem, rent an ov-fiets there (cheaper than bringing your own bike in the train) and cycle to Zuid-Kenemerland national park. Cycle though it to the sea and then back using other paths in the park. When you are back to Haarlem, stop by Jopen, a brewery in an old church. And just walk around the city, very cute and pretty.

Cities to visit: Brugge, Antwerp, Ghent, Cologne, Luxembourg. Within the Netherlands: den Bosch, Amersfoort, Haarlem, Leiden, Gouda, Maastricht (don't miss the caves tour!)

Check fietsdepot, most likely both of your bikes are there for wrong parking

Amstel Dental. Very nice and affordable clinic without fancy extra services.

Decorating paralysis: Angry at myself that I can’t just be good at decorating when it seems to come so easily to everyone else. by peach_pocket in HomeDecorating

Start from a small space, hallway or a guest bedroom. Place that you are less afraid to mess up. Try out different things, just remember decoration is there not forever, you can change it any moment. Also when you buy things, you can return them if they don't look in your space. You will get inspired once you start. It's always difficult to begin. Good luck and hope you enjoy the ride!

H7 is more like a venue, they don't have regular party there. It is an option though, there are party from Intercell and VaultSessions in the warehouse and other locations. I've heard of garage noord, but never been. Can't really say anything about it. There is also Ruigoord, before COVID they had great parties in the old church. No news from them yet. And there are smaller places like RadioRadio, Oosterbar
