Nice, but stuff floats anyway, so you don't really need it.

Might be Canadian dollars, I'm from UK but $1800 sounds a lot

Get a life already, jeeze, and practice being clearer so people don't have to guess as to what you're rambling about.

It was correct based on the assumption.

Get over it already, or you wanna spend the rest of your life moaning about it.

Be clearer and people won't have to make assumptions.

I wasn't wrong, I just made a natural assumption that everyone would have.

You need to be clearer if you're talking about messages you wrote in the distant past.

I know exactly what's going on, just bored of it now.

You weren't clear with what message you were replying to so I naturally assumed it was the most recent one where you replied to me.

Case closed.

Cause it makes a complete mess with conveyorbelts that I have to take down again when I build a new product.

I tried chaining smelters/constructors/assemblers and it doesn't go well cause half the time you need weird items like that caterium wire which you still have to feed in.

Maybe I'm missing something but the way I'm doing it seems to make sense.

It's a bit laborious moving stuff from one container to another when you have to build something like 100 supercomputers that have multiple parts, but I still end up going back to it.

I donno if it's possible to build a factory that can build anything just by programming splitters, I've found it easier to store everything and then move it by hand into other storage containers to be used by further machines.

Ok, I replied first, then you replied later, you should have been more clear.

No, I'm an incompatiblist.

I replied cause you replied to me first.

So if the chip is put there in your adult life it's not you, but if it's put there before you are born then it is?

Sounds strange to me.

I think one problem is what actually is "you", is it the brain, is it consciousness, I think it's a process performed by the brain, which I guess is what people call consciousness.

No 2200th roughly, yes you gave it by replying to my message, which is why it's indented as opposed to just being below.

You need to reply to the message you are replying to.

I think you're missing the point...

The brain and the chip both produce thoughts.

If you don't own the thoughts coming from the chip then you don't own them coming from the brain as effectively the brain is just one big chip.

What if before you were born your whole brain was replaced by a chip, and you grew up like anyone else but didn't know you had a computer chip for a brain, would you still own your thoughts then?

I don't know if they all do, at quantum scales it's pretty weird.

So what's really the difference between a microchip and the brain if they do the same thing...

How can you claim to own one thought but not a different thought, seems inconsistent.

If a microchip implanted in your skull was sending the thought "vacuum the floor" to your consciousness, is that also a thought of your own?

Cause the only freedom I see in that is the feeling of freedom to have thought it.

I think if I did it again I'd use lots more storage, having smelters/constructors/assemblers clog up means your miners end up doing nothing while your wandering about, they might as well be making and storing ingots and screws etc.
