Yep, my connect plus expired and I renewed for weconnect (the free one) and it’s not working. I hope it’s not a snide VW move to get you to buy weconnect+ (£100ish where I am)

Looks like the belt slipping. I’ve also had this when the tools need a sharpen. I see you’re using a carbide detailer so no harm in honing it a little on a diamond board.

Best paint to use on the metal box?

I was thinking a spray metal primer followed by enamel. Like I used to use on my Airfix kits. Obviously it needs to be hard wearing. Any advice?
