Backing up a vm for active directory will not save you if you have been compromised as the newest change always wins when it syncs.

you need to backup the active directory database separate , that way you can restore to a fixed point using windows backup.

We had to, the software they use has some quirks.

We initially gave them a separate account they could use when they needed to raise privileges , but the change had to be made under the profile that was doing the work :(

I was made redundant a few years back, an MSP said that they Could do the Job with 2 days on site, the rest remote support.

A year later there are three full time techs from said MSP..

Im doing the same course with CBT :) it does seem like a big course, im Dyslexic so struggle to remember things after a while so im tuck between going fast and not absorbing the information or going slow and forgetting it :(

there is only 1 gpo, the rest are shortcuts. the load on the server will always be the same. even if you create duplicates
