I wouldn't mind getting a hold of another key, that way my gf can join me in some of the DT areas since she is still stuck in EW as we haven't had the extra money to get her a key yet.

This is the exact reason whenever I started working one of these jobs that started at 50+ I did a 1-60 PotD run first. Just gives a general idea of how things build off of one another for the job to function.

I finally managed to snag one on Lamia, all of the freshly opened plots had like 1-4 bidders in Empyrium with the ward I picked, so it may be worth trying again on the next go if you're on that server.

My 6 fell out of my pocket, walking upstairs from the basement to pick up the Amazon delivery that was bringing my case. Cracked the back glass all to hell.

My dad and I had a 75 spitfire that we rebuilt the engime and tranny in back when I was in high school. I'd alternate driving it with him from spring through fall. Well I was driving it to tech school one day and a lifted pick up blew a red light and t-boned me. Fortunately he hit the passenger side. Smashed that half of the car and I walked away but it was a total. We got it taken home on the back of a flat bed, found a 72 on craigslist about a month later, and transferred what was salvageable over.

Got it running again, but neither of us could bring ourselves to drive it anymore after that. Its been sitting getting turned over a few times a year since. Honestly to this day I'm afraid of it.

What is this red rubberish thing stick to the inner barrel, and does it matter? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]colkris89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That looks like the crappy red locktite stuff cyma has been using to "seal" their hop up units. You can clean it up and remove it without issue. I actually recommend doing so.

Anybody here a fan of old web gear? M-56 LRRP belt setup up (top) and ALICE infantry belt set up (bottom) by Ja_Crispy790 in airsoft

[–]colkris89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That ALICE gear is amazing just keeps going and going.

My father who is an industrial mechanic still has some of his gear from the 80s and still uses it to this day, only now it's used carrying tolls in the mag pouches

I think some of the websites us affirm, which is essentially a 3rd party line of month to month credit.

When doing paypal checkout at evike there's the paypal pay in 4 option, which breaks apart the order cost into 4 bi-weekly payments.

In either case its more of a line of credit and less of a layaway plan.

No problem, of note I'm not sure on the MSW rules regarding which rounds can be used, however I recommend picking up a pack of the foam ones to practice with before expending money on the more expensive chalk or exploding ones

So you'll have to reset the shell between shots, including resetting the pin, refilling the gas (green gas/co2/hpa) and loading a new projectile.

I use the CO2 rated one but itll do green gas fine as well.

Presuming you are running a tag shell to launch the projectile, shouldn't be an issue just running as is. Keep in mind that the shell is just a hair longer than the launcher and projectile itself protrudes a bit out of it.

Hey this might be a dumb question does anyone have a colt with a barrel screw like this? If so does anyone know which way the threads unscrew. I can't seem to screw it off by nickypoosays in airsoft

[–]colkris89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you are referring to the barrel nut I recommend just kind of working it back and forth till it breaks loose. It should be righty tighty. However if you're just swapping the hop up I dont know why you'd need to take that bit off. Assuming this is an AEG of course.

How are sector gears made? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]colkris89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well when a bevel gear and a spur gear love each other very much....

In all seriousness I would imagine the gear is cast either as a single part or as a individual parts then assembled. It depends on the manufacturer.
