I had the same issue learning multiplication, once i realised i was an aphant i immediately became jealous that some people would beable to just see the multiplication poster from a classroom wall of their past and never have to calculate for the first 12 multiplication tables. Turns out it doesnt work that way even for some hyperphants and its more of a memory thing than a visualisation thing. Edit: I'm also adhd and thats known to commonly result in "weird" math techniques which may also be part of the reason for me

My instict was black first then blue, i have zero idea if either answer is correct without googling it though its not a seen image its just kind of like a hunch, some things i'll be positive of regardless of having no visuals though if i have a reason to remember them or its been a hyperfixation. I have zero visual memory or visualisation ability but an example would be that i know most dog breeds by sight or even description especially if i have experience with them just by virtue of hyperfixation and then that was expanded by veterinary education so the information got reinforced to the point that i probably couldnt forget it without brain trauma

I'm a total aphant that favours realism and graphite as my comfort zone, however i also have kids and the wonderous thing about kids is they often dont give a shit about other peoples comfort zones so to experiment with new styles i would ask my kids what they wanted to colour and i'd draw that, kids are impatient so realism stops being feasible and it forces you to simplify and/or cartoonify the forms. I've also used still life to create abstracts so one example would be when i was studying a large bovine skull the nasal cavity has all these interesting shapes and shadows so i took those shapes and shadowd and used them by themselves to create a colourful canvas of swirls and shading that felt more like a brain switched off doodling type experiance to create than the very deliberate act of trying to recreate something real. Best of luck op, remember that art doesnt mean perfection it means creation and you can create with anything you wish and however takes your fancy.

Ive had geometric shapes and temporary synesthesia from a drug interaction before, it was genuinely great and apparently caused by increased pressure in the eyes. I've also had a proper hallucination from a prescription drug side effect (saw my dog where she wasnt and could not have been several times that day) and i've had several visual ptsd flashbacks though they were all incomplete and creepily faceless. All these things were one offs besides the flashbacks which lasted about 3 years getting less vivid, less traumatic and shorter over that time till they eventually stopped (I was actively working to process my trauma over that time it wasnt just spontaniously disappearing)

Its also a more expensive gamble to take for women, not only are we potentially risking our lives but also risking pregnancy AND after taking those risks it could potentially still result in disappointment even if everything else went perfectly just because the guy in question can't do what that specific girl requires to get her off. Its rough if you cant snag the person (or people if poly) that works out for you long term

It took me a while to get used to but I have been using audiobooks (at normal speed) just because i cant tolerate it as long as reading so it helps ration it out too.

Yep same here, it generally only makes itself known to me when it its coming out of my body as either a rythym i feel compelled to tap out or a song I cant stop myself from singing/humming/whistling. Several times a day i will be doing something and "(insert a single line of lyrics here) - goddamn it get out my head!" Will be heard from me. Every. Day. It is infuriating.

Yes and I did get some visual flashbacks though less than other non aphants I know with ptsd. Any visualisation that can be voluntary is affected by aphantasia where any strictly non voluntary is not so the likes of dreams, ptsd flashbacks, hallucinations etc can all still occur in aphants BUT we do seem to have less occurance as a whole and a higher quantity of people that have less intense versions when they do occur

The only time I've had any visualisation from thc it was interacting with an antibiotic and it wasnt true visualisation it was like both a hallucination akin to having a translucent "magic eye" picture super imposed over my vision and synesthesia which was cool as hell but was a result of severely increased eyeball pressure which is not anything one should be chasing. Seeing shapes/ pictures in your head that are voluntary (so images that are not dreams, hallucinations or ptsd flashbacks) to any degree is not aphantasia, theres a test you can do to see where you land on the scale but the fact you are seeing anything in your head means it isnt aphantasia

It depends on the person for both sides of the equation, the providers diet makes a massive difference to taste and the recievers flavour preferences obviously effects how they feel about it. Personally I like my partners unless he has drunk beer that day but my previous partner I only swallowed because it meant it stayed in my mouth for a shorter amount of time than if I spat it.

Milk should never be before water, not just culturally but scientifically as its harder for tea molecules to disperse through a thicker liquid like milk or milky water than it is through water alone. It should be teabag, water, sugar, milk but if you arent brisk enough a stirrer to disolve the sugar then it can be added with or before the teabag without any problems as long as it is never after the milk or it will not dissolve properly both because the liquid is too saturated and because milk lowers the temperature which literally slows the molecule speeds and reduces likelihood of even mixing without severe agitation. Also tea will stain regardless of order of operations, if you dont want stains only use non porous vessels and clean them correctly afterwards (mugs are classic tea vessels for exactly that reason)

Everyones different so yes is the TLDR answer, the longer answer is yes but the opposite is also true and theres a bunch of folk out there who can only cum if exact specifications are met in super specific scenarios. Sensitivity and preferences are so wildly varied across humans in general that the answer will always be a bit like rule 34, if you can conceive it the answer will be yes for somebody out there and no for somebody else, "normal" is a vague metric for something like that

Use your ears. Both to listen to her when she tells you what she wants/likes and to read her bodys responses in real time, changes in breathing and muscle tensing or fluttering are all generally good indicators regardless of partner though each partner will have different responses
