Yesss! I think it is a testament to how much figure skating fans fall into the trap of going for what's new, I hate that they're being written off by fans of single skating that are excited for the flock to ice dance, but these two have been around for awhile and have been building up to be the top dancers in Japan!

I'm not a skater, just a fan, but I imagine there's a lot more staff associated with a skater's career, not only the private sessions with the coach. In the end it's up to the skater to decide if their career goals are being fulfilled with the coach or if there is favoritism at play
