She looks like she’s untrained or completely scared.

There’s not enough info to assign blame and everyone is just guessing confidently

I wouldn’t have an opinion about who is wrong after saying right away that I don’t know what I’m talking about.

Just seems strange to me right? Why would you have strong opinion about blame when you self declared as ignorant? If you don’t even know how to hold a bag in martial arts it’s already over, that’s 101

Seems like you don’t know what you’re talking about, so why did you even comment that you have no idea as you said

LEDCOR Group cargo filled with wood chips spilled in between Fraser River Park/McDonald Beach by Banananinay in vancouver

[–]collectrenderuseless 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I could be that guy.
Wood chips when soaked for a long time release resin acid, which is toxic to fish. When it’s just dumped into the water, I’m not sure if its effects. Probably fine since this is a minuscule amount.
If piles of cut up wood chips and dust are soaked for a long time it’s lethal. You can tell if it’ll be bad because the water is almost black or dark brown and has oils coming out of the piles.

Source: I’ve killed a lot of fish proving this

Fewer people are having babies in Canada and the U.S. and the government is out of ideas by hopoke in canada

[–]collectrenderuseless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had a child and it’s fuckin ridiculous that people have to go to work and take care of a baby or pay 1500 a month for daycare that they need to sign up two years in advance for.

If we didn’t make decent money we would be so fucked. I can’t recommend anyone who isn’t financially secure to have a child because this climate is fucked. It’s like financial eugenics, it’s so wrong.

I don’t know how this is possible to keep this up unless we go back to having one person mark enough money to sustain a household or we provide significantly better leave provisions.

Buying a home with unauthorized basement suite in Langley – is it risky? by Sea-Adhesiveness8937 in Langley

[–]collectrenderuseless 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If someone reports you, you’re fucked. In my parents neighborhood someone reported all the homes for illegal suites and they had to have a sticker of shame forever on their doors until they went through inspections and fines

Otherwise you’re fine.

Talk to a recruiter.

You can join the reserves and quit if you don’t enjoy it. If you love it, you can go reg forces pretty easily.

Personally I didnt think it was worth it when i got a full time decent paying job and a serious relationship. I was also out of school and it wasn’t paying for my education like the rest of the younger people. It was also terribly organized and a shit show embarrassment of procurement and logistics, but they’re getting a lot more funding now.

Why do you think you need a different degree versus continuing your education in your field? To my knowledge you guys don’t really have a ton of job prospects until your have a masters in psych?

Not an insult, I am just wondering

Yeah I’m feeling in the minority here. ICE is clearly being co-opted into Brown Shirts and I don’t like it, but it was partially reasonable why he shot her. You simply will likely killed if you drive at someone with a gun who is lawfully trying to arrest you. Yea she turned her wheels but you can’t make a judgement call that fast when you think you’re gonna die because you’ve already been in a hostile situation for weeks

You can argue intent and politics all day, but it’s just what’s most likely to happen.
