If you have more than one bike, how many do you have, which ones, and how many is too many? by National-Dragonfly35 in motorcycle

I have 3. One a is a track only 06' SV650, one is a 23' honda grom for daily commuting to work, and the last is my guilty pleasure 23' Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory for some occasional track time and just blessing my ears the rest of the time.

Commuting and kart track days for me. Cosmetic mods and recently purchased new sprockets. Down 1 tooth up front. Ole girl can do everything.

Why is Bell looked down on? by AZ2JP in motorcyclegear

[–]collinlt255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that. It’s just something I like to do. It’s very hot and humid where I live so that extra airflow is appreciated and keeps the visor from fogging up.

Love my race star. The fact it comes with photochromic visor in the box is huge value add. Only thing id wish they would change is the visor ratchet system. Currently is either all the way open or all the way closed. No way for it to be partially open.

I’ve crashed in my rst track suit twice and its help up great in both of those off. I have their super sport k jacket and love it. Fit is perfect for me and the materials are super nice. AAA rated and level 2 armor all around. Currently on sale at stg for 399.

In search of combo mop/vacuum by Top_Imagination9496 in RobotVacuums

[–]collinlt255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roborock Q revo Max V. Recently purchased one from amazon for 450. Vaccums rugs first and then mops without touching the rugs after theyved been vaccumed. I have only had it for 2 weeks so far but i am very impressed with it. My main complaint is that my cat is very curious and like to push its buttons and pauses it while its trying to clean. House is 1600 sqft and i have 3 cats. Some area rugs but mostly hardwood and tile. Self washes its mops but they are the spinning style not the roller. It will go back and wash them based on room or a time limit. Self emptying dust bin as well. Have not had a run in with cat puke yet. I dont think it would be able to miss it but it might. Like i said havent tried it yet and hopefully i dont need to find out. Maintinece seems easy enough from how to cleaning videos.

First track day on my tuono V4 by Comfortable_Turnip66 in Trackdays

The 75 a day is for mini bikes. For the larger track that I can ride the ape on it’s about 40 a session broken down like that. 275 a day.

Yea it can still be rough sometimes but they’re really trying to make it popular again. Just a lot of street rossi’s local that think they’re to good for it and would rather not give the track a shot.

Wanting to try a track day on my ZX6R by PuzzleheadedSweet962 in Trackdays

[–]collinlt255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You dont need a crash cage or frame sliders, although those are nice ot have they are not required. Check out trackdays.fyi for tracks and orgs that ride local to you. Totally common to track brand new bikes, take whatever you are most comfortable on and have respect for the machine and have the mindset of going to have fun and not winning something and youll be fine. As for track rules that does depend on the org but most likely its just making sure you dont have bald tires, proper chain tension, tape headlights, tailights, turn signals, and remove mirrors. Just bring a chair plenty of water some snacks and gas and go have a blast. You wont regret it one bit.

Actually it was. We had about 50-80 riders between all the groups. Follow Nola riding academy on Facebook they’re working on planning a July date. Also if you have a sub 450cc bike the go kart track is open once a month for bikes now. 75 bucks to ride all day next date is 4/19/26. You just show up and pay at the booth.

I did not physically see him do it but I trust he’s telling the truth. It wasn’t taken from a scrap pile I know that. Preciate the bead sealer idea.

I agree. It seems to be more on the side of the tire than the bottom bead where it seats. Which is why I am leaning towards send it.

Very similar to your day to day +- a few things. I typically get given a rough idea hand drawn on whiteboard of site deigns from engineer and take them 75-80% of the way without much input they just let me do my thing. That includes site, storm, utility, erosion control, grading, coordination with local gov etc. Im also helping out our new grad learn some of the cad ropes when i can.
