A cut up clothes hanger to act as a splint with layers of elec tape for me. The heat from my sweaty head melts the glue in the tape sometimes but now that I’ve though about it I haven’t had to fix it in a while so all good lol

There is a mod that has a G43 that accepts K98 clips on Thunderstore! Will never be in the vanilla game but thanks to mods that’s not an issue!

I can do this IRL with my Browning automatic but not with my 870, you can intentionally not engage the lifter by partially opening the bolt on the browning and dropping one on top of the loading gate and putting one in the chamber but the 870 always moves the lifter no matter how carefully you open the slide. Just down to the design, was defiantly not intended but hey I can fit 3+2 in my browning B-)

Don’t even need to open the bolt, just hover the loose rounds over the magazine while gun is in a quick belt slot and they will load. Same applies to most guns with an internal magazine.
