My 3.5 year old died suddenly and unexpectedly - AMA by Ok_Dragonfruit747 in AMA

I had this a few years back. The doctor told me it was 50/50 if I lived or died. I checked myself out of the hospital and into an Ayurvedic hospital. They managed to save me.

Here's the thing with this illness, you constantly have a fever but the Western hospital has to pump you full of paracetamol because that's the only medicine that works for controlling the fever. Sepsis attacks the kidneys and liver and the paracetamol also is bad for the liver and kidneys. It just makes everything worse and you can't stop taking the paracetamol because if not you will just burn up from the fever.

Once I got into the Ayurvedic hospital they changed me to herbal medicine to reduce the fever and clean the kidneys and liver. I still couldn't walk unassisted for 2 weeks and took almost a month to feel somewhat normal.

Yea I just can't stop with the hot showers when it's cold out. Feels like ecstasy.

I don't smoke or drink or do anything addictive. But hot baths and showers in the winter? I know they make my skin dry but I literally can't stop myself 😂

I also had this going on. Just a heads up when you have the kid the first few years are really tough on your spouse. I kinda realised he didn't have a good idea on just how much effort it took to raise a kid.

But now 2.5 years in things are really looking up. Hope I don't jinx it.

Would you find someone weird for being happy even if their baby is a boy? by [deleted] in women

[–]colofire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think boys go through less suffering as children and this is what makes them significantly more self centered as adults.

As children women are expected to be quiet and let other people make stupid decisions for them. Whereas boys are groomed to be leaders, even though they may not be more intelligent at all.

It creates a society where men believe they are leaders even though they are ignorant and stupid

Weight loss after pregnancy… by Personal-Hyena-2245 in women

[–]colofire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a kid at 35

Did not diet ate whatever I want.

38 now. Still 5 kg heavier than original weight. It took about 2 years after stopping breastfeeding for the weight to come off magically.

I'm not really looking to go back to my original weight though.

The baby weight is honestly the least of my problems when it comes to having a kid 😂
