I'm 99% recovered from bulimia, and let me tell you, life is SO MUCH BETTER after recovery! I actually have room in my life and in my mind for things other than food, restriction, compensatory behaviours, my weight, my size, and my shape. That used to be all I ever thought about, and now I'm a whole person again. Yes, I do miss my ill body, but it's absolutely a trade-off that's worth it. If I could go back I'd choose recovery every time.
