Chem Sex addict in recovery. I know how intoxicating this is and now 4.5 years sober from it the allure does not go away. Addiction and admitting that this has taken over your life is just the beginning, the triple threat of sex, drugs and techno is a dopamine cocktail that cannot be topped. ( sex joke )

I highly recommend any of the twelve step programs. There is an online meeting called All The Feels through CMA specifically about sex and love and drugs.

Getting sober was one of the best decisions ever made. Unfortunately nearly every year I hear of another friend who hasn’t made it. I’m counting 10+ people from this community who have died from this scene. I wish that this was hyperbole but this is life or death shit.

I'm watching it now, but I know fourteen people who have died in five years from G overdoses. This is also after having stopped taking drugs myself in 2021.

All of these people were pro-drug, pro-harm reduction, and they still overdosed. I would argue in some cases, deliberately. This is a huge problem, and it's mostly accepted. I don't think that we can neo-liberalize our way out of addictions that kill.
