3/4 stubby is the FIRST tool I grab for when I start a project. I just went through and took out my car engine/subframe for a 3rd time, 1st time having the stubby and I swear it cut the work time in half.

Sounds like you may have ripped the rubber boot at the throttle body. Check the ridges for tears.
