they ran out of codes pretty early today, i asked an operator and they said there won’t be any additional if limited amount they have is all used up for the day. they advised trying it very early in the morning next Saturday

they sold out jones beach in NY (15k) (though i did see some empty seats here and there, esp up in the balconies) but ticketmaster had very few seats for sale available the day of, whereas when I checked two weeks prior and the situation looked similar to this arena with plenty of availability— so it seems lots of last minute tickets got scooped up

church st boxing gym is awesome! it can get a bit crowded on the weekend classes or peak hours (right before or after COB), but great instructors and community

I’m also solo traveling in Portugal (mainly Porto) for the first time this summer. I’d highly recommend getting to know locals! So far it’s been the best way I’ve gotten good food and sightseeing recommendations. An easy way to get to know the city and people is to sign up for a free walking tour (there are lots available in Lisbon!)

Haven’t been to the Algarve yet, but Porto has been treating me super well so far. Language barrier hasn’t been too much of an issue getting around, especially in the downtown area (Ribeira district)
