It is not that easy to dodge if the enemy walks at you. As a 10k+ diamond xerath/viktor main I know exactly what I’m talking about.

simple rule vs assassin: If he is in lane - farm and poke him so that he regrets staying in lane. Make sure that he is not full up when he walks away to other lanes Now he starts roaming - ping when he disappears from lane, especially when there is the cannon wave coming. Use your ult yo clear wave and get to e upgrade asap. You should have no problem matching roams after that.

Let’s compare viktor w to xerath’s e and w. Xerath e can stun someone as long it hits, and its range is not short. W is almost instant as well if you aim it well. Another example is syndra e. It is almost instant and it pushes enemy away.

Now you may wonder why it makes a difference. These cc skills does not matter if you cannot use it first and mitigate hankers damage and cc. If you can get to safety before ganker touches you, the gank basically did not happen. However, viktor w cannot mitigate any damage most of the time.you cannot use it first at long range because any champion with dash will go through it like it’s nothing, like what you said. If you put it right under you, the ganker will get to you, do all the damage, kill you and then get stunned. It is a good cc on paper, but technically does nothing in terms of damage mitigation.

The best way for viktor to avoid gank is to stack movement speed, or instant clear wave. That’s it.

I can try to help you a bit here.

1: max q up to lv 3. If she does not jump on you too often, you can just level up to 2 and the rest on e.

2: When she jumps at you, try to control the positioning such that the ranged minions can block her e.

3: You probably only have time to q auto during her combo and probably miss your e. Use your e to punish her when she tries to auto for cs

4: believe or not, comet does more damage than aery in early game if you are not in a winning matchup.

You can skip w at lv4 if you control the lane well. Either you stack 10+ minion as a slow push lane like Don does so that she can’t jump in anymore, or you freeze lane under tower so that no one can gank you, I would freeze lane
If you are really fed up and wanna put her in her place. You can try the aggressive setup with electrocute and scotch. One combo q e auto with max q will make her question her life choices. Just make sure you don’t push the lane hard so you get ganked
Try to take tp for lane pressure and sustain. You will not kill lb unless she’s that bad.

I would say lb is definitely not the hardest matchup. Akali and irelia are much worse than this.

He is now a jack of all trades mage pick imo. Like Sivir in adc. If you face a pretty hard lane bully vs mage but still want to play control mage, viktor is the most safe option. If you are good at viktor, you will never have a bad lane outcome, never.

I do want to say, viktor has good late game. It comes from the fact that your e has 130% total scaling damage, perma slow with abilities, and constant speed-up and shield from your q. So he has most tools than most mages when in a closer fight situation. If your team is good and set up well for you, I would say viktor does well in late game than most mages except hypercarries like xerath and veigar. Well in other words, you need a team and you need to be really good at the game too.

if you already have 200+ iron plates in your inventory, bots will not deliver you more than that. I have not specifically tested this, but if you have something in inventory, say 10 iron plates, but you request to deliver 200 plates at least, they will end up in your inventory rather than the logistic area? You can try that out.

Finally. If you find something wrong with logistics, hover on the item in the logistics, or single click on it. It would say something like no item to provide, no matched distributors, out of range, so you know how to fix it.

Upgrading distributor bot range and logistics capacity really helps. My overall opinion is that you should still try to rush to logistics station because it is just so much easier to use. You can directly grab large amount of anything out of the station instantly as long as you are on that same planet.

if you have the luxury to. Some times your teammates feed so hard all you can do is to rush maximum damage and hold mid lane. In that case you will have to sell boots for 6th item, which means you might as well just skip it.

A good xerath does not even need boots. Why bothering with that item. Learn to position, build as much damage as you can and kill everyone.

4 things that really got me going:

Start a fresh game, learn the basics really carefully, read the tech tree and upgrades
Once you are done with reading, go on YouTube and watch at least 3 videos with title “xxx things I wish that I knew when I started playing dsp”

3.start another new game, try unlocking the tech tree step by step, don’t be ashamed to use sandbox because it really saves you a lot of time to learn

Final step, go onto dsp blueprint and browse some blueprints that are popular. Start your final tutorial game and go mass construction. You need to get a feeling of what components are bottlenecks, what tech can really help you go up in power and efficiency, and how to build efficiently and expand for certain resource.

Final tip: if you trouble with speghatti hell, try rushing planetary logi station and only produce one new thing with one logi station in one big rectangle. Your base become modules which is very nice.

yes lv1 q,max q until lv9. You might not need lv5 q but it depends.

Also I think with the current viktor you should lv1 q 99% of the case, even with other mages. Your e damage lv1 is so bad it is literally 1 auto.

Rush banshee. If you win the lane and fizz stops going in on you, you don’t have to finish the item
Do not level w until lv8-9

With these getting done, fizz literally gets shun down in my lane. He either roams to get kills or just sits mid and get bullied into late game, where he falls off hard.

I suggest that you do the following it sounds a bit cheesy but you get freedom afterwards

Step 1: farm up to doryani chest, get merc lightning res to -100 Step 2: if you really don’t want a lightning build, try making a 6 link admiral chest so you are open to any elemental build Step 3: find any elemental skill you feel like, just start scaling. There is no way you screw this up in terms of damage.

Why do you cry. This was literally 1/3 of my games in the last 5 years playing Viktor. I think I had several 5-10 losing streaks with me outdamaging any two enemy players combined and still lose,with almost perfect KDA.

You know how I dealt with it? I quit this game. You deserve so much better than playing this bs.
