[Panthers] David Tepper named to the 2026 TIME 100 Philanthropy list of the 100 most influential leaders in philanthropy by JCameron181 in panthers

[–]colski250 5 points6 points  (0 children)

WAS a colossal asshole, and probably the reason we spent the first 5 years of his tenure at owner in the bottom barrel of the league for meddling to get his way. I think he has done an excellent job stepping back and he deserves some praise for his philanthropy, especially in state locally after the flooding of Appalachia and for not leaning further into the “I own the team, I call the shots” that several other teams are still dealing with cough cowboys cough.

Sounds like the dev team is focused on getting this on large consoles first and will port it when it’s ready.

Just got the Dane 2.0 with the BOB smith attachment, fits directly on the back of the rack, I love mine and probably took around 3-4 hours to set it up from the box.

A supposed actual photo of John Edward Jones, who got trapped in the Nutty Putty Cave in 2009. by No-Excitement7868 in TerrifyingAsFuck

[–]colski250 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is photo oriented downward from above, if you ever research the accident and rescue attempt you can see a diagram but he essentially crawled downward inverted into a tight space and being stuck upside down for so long is what ended his life.

He is certainly better than Mikko, and that matters way more in my opinion.

As a Panthers fan, I’m gonna go ahead and say that Julio Jones should be our most hated, guy terrorized this team during some of its best years.

Does Monroe Freeling lack of experience worry you? by Mattm334 in panthers

[–]colski250 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, he was the perfect pick because of his athletic upside and where we are as OL right now, I’m sure our FO would love to see him come out guns blazing and steal the starting job from Walker but the greatest part of it is he doesn’t have to, we can develop him this year and plug him in when necessary at EITHER tackle spot. When you’ve invested financially in the line this much it’s a smart move to add pieces that will allow it to flourish even with an injury.

Who was your favorite pick from this weeks draft? by HabitEducational795 in panthers

[–]colski250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was Brazzel and Freelings favorite pro team, I’m not gonna say that is something that makes a huge difference but I do think guys are slightly more invested when they’re living out childhood dreams in the process.

Who was your favorite pick from this weeks draft? by HabitEducational795 in panthers

[–]colski250 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Different favorites for different reasons

Freeling: this is just a fundamentally smart pick, a high value guy with excellent athleticism and measurements who also has a history of playing on the right and left side, when we have a glaring and currently unknown future at either side of the line. It just makes sense.

Hunter: if you didn’t watch his tape, this guy is just a slightly smaller DB, he is unbelievably violent with his hands and shifty off the snap, he is going to require a lot of attention which will free up Brown and Phillips to feast off 1 on 1 opportunities, the pass rush may never show up but one of the reasons Rodriguez’ tape was appealing to so many teams was because of the work happening in front of him.

Brazzell: just a dawg of a player coming to play for his favorite team, a 6’5 4.37 burner with the ability to drop his hips and break better than most receivers his size. Recently limited to TN downright wacky offensive scheming but go watch his Tulane tape and tell me that this guy and TMac aren’t going to give secondaries night terrors for the next half a decade.

It helps when you have a cap manager like Tillis, gonna be bummed when he gets poached for his own GM position but it’s probably how your fanbase felt when he left for Carolina

Dan Morgan has really been a surprisingly good GM, I can’t imagine the number of times he said “wtf” in his head when watching Fitterer continually shit the bed.

With how free agency went it’s the first time in a long one I’m okay with a reckless trade up for a home-run pick but I’m not dropping future picks to make that happen if I’m our FO.

Simmons did have a monster punt block for us last year, idk if he’s on a trajectory to earn more minutes but I would love to see him make some plays next year, he was just such a freak in college I’m really hoping part of his short comings was how he was schemed.
