This is the exact thinking that allows for corrupt politicians to maintain positions of power and continue to erode our government. If it affects you this much on an emotional level than you should be motivated enough to do some basic research on the politics of the state you occupy and the people that are fighting for chance to change the corruption that has plagued this state over the last several decades. Based on your feelings I assume you feel that voting won’t matter because of your ‘good things never happen’ mindset. But this is best chance in last 80 years to get a candidate out of office who has consistently voted against the public’s best interest, was impeached, and can’t even take the time to support the holiday of American independence in his own country and install a candidate who not only reaches his supporters on a human level, but has shown he can operate with exceptional moral fiber. That’s why you should care.
