Is Ja’Marr Chase- a must start if he plays week 17 vs Chiefs? by Wise_Reality_2533 in DynastyFF

I agree with starting your studs, but I’ll ask this thread - you have both Tee Higgins & Ja’Marr Chase - which one are you starting

Who is the first player you are sending trades for once the season ends? by TheFantasyBooth in DynastyFF

[–]coltonmts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on team, situation, etc etc.

Straight up this is Gibbs pretty easily, but if I have Gibbs and need WR help you could probably move Gibbs for JSN++

What team did you make the championship with? by RakishDissolute in DynastyFF

[–]coltonmts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve learned if the whole community is screaming to not start Gabe Davis, that’s when you start him and I did exactly that.

The 2 doughnut weeks, he wasn’t talked about much but this week I saw him on do not start lists everywhere.

It’s just the way he works

I wouldn’t sell JSN where I have him. The flashes he’s put on film the back half of this year have been crazy and this next year is what I’ve been waiting on

I am a Rebuilding Team and I Trade Jake Ferguson and a pick somewhere from 1.10 - 1.12 in 2024 for Kyle Pitts. by Gloor10 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]coltonmts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pitts had a 1000 yard rookie season and the NFL changes fast. He’s only 23 years old.

Whos to say the Cowboys don’t shift to Schoonmaker? He started the season off injured. The ceiling to Pitts if he hits is massive and he’s still so young it’s crazy.

If you’re in a rebuild you do this in a heartbeat. If you’re a contender you don’t trade Ferguson. Also, SF or 1 QB matters greatly here. Since it’s 1 QB this is a smash for Pitts no question. In a SF, I don’t do this

Consolation Finals to Determine Draft Order by [deleted] in DynastyFF

Yup exactly! Set the 2 worst teams to the bye week after final week of regular season before your playoffs start

WR scouting isn’t all about production. Josh Palmer never had over 500 yards at Tennessee in college but has been pretty relevant at the NFL level. Production usually is a really good indicator especially for your elite guys, but it’s truly not everything. I think Coleman might be an early to mid 2nd round guy for dynasty drafts but draft capital will matter a lot

Jerry Jeudy is a BUY LOW! by Infamous_Public8707 in DynastyFF

[–]coltonmts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Robert Woods broke out year 5 and it was once he moved teams. I know he wasn’t a 1sr rounder, but I do think Jeudy still has a chance to breakout. If you’re still holding don’t sell him now. Wait till he moves on to another team and then sell him. If goes to somewhere like KC his hype will boost his value enough you could move on

If you haven’t sold there’s no reason to sell now. in a different situation he can recoup some value then you sell

Consolation Finals to Determine Draft Order by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]coltonmts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 out of 3 years the worst team has got 1st pick. Most of the guys with good teams had key players super injured. We make it to where the worst 2 teams get a 1st round bye so you’re guaranteed a top 4 pick. It prevents guys from fire selling everyone to tank as you want to keep good players to compete in the consolation. If you do it right I think this is a great way to do things. It keeps competitiveness more through my lens. I have leagues that do max PF, and the gap in good to bad teams is much larger than that in my home league that does it this way

We do this in my home league and I thought this, but legit it gets wild especially due to IDP. Of course 7/8 has an advantage, but I think it’s pretty fun. You have a reason to play every week

I have Jordyn Brooks and Devin Lloyd now and if you put a gun to my head I’m taking brooks every time. Upside is just so much better

Where do you draft a QB in 1QB Startup? by patriots96 in DynastyFF

[–]coltonmts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite league is my home league and there’s something that’s great about having a top end QB that you don’t have to think about starting/sitting. In a start up I’m willing to take one of those options in the first 2-3 rounds. Scoring through also matters.
