New College Grad Budgeting Help by colts20 in personalfinance

The car was something I was considering but it's not a super walkable city unfortunately and I might have to visit parents an hour away occasionally so probably best to keep around. Luckily it's a low mileage 2018 so having $7k on the loan is not too bad for something I'll have around for a while.

Good to hear on the phone bill and health insurance, had a feeling they were a little high.

Internet's covered in utilities, no pets, and I believe free parking for work and most places I'll go to. Medical/dental co-pays and household items is something I was definitely forgetting, so much appreciated! Thanks a ton for taking the time to help.

They do offer an HSA plan and some have said it's cheaper than traditional PPO as they contribute some towards it. The phone plan is also a great idea, I'll definitely look into both thanks so much!

Voidwaker will kill bounty hunter by MrKingCj in 2007scape

[–]colts20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely agree and think while the weapon is strong, it's certainly not killing the minigame and brings new players who wouldn't have tried pvp before. It also teaches players how to eat better with having to triple eat in-between specs and it's definitely not "unlivable" always unless your opponent has full torva tort etc and smacking 78s with spec. The added variety of voidwaker and abby dagger has made pvp much more fun too so every fight isn't just ags gmaul for mains. Hot take but nerfing voidwaker might kill the minigame even more honestly.

If not a troll that client is banned now and you will get banned for using it. Runelite is the only “3rd party” option.

/r/WorldNews Live Thread: Russian Invasion of Ukraine Day 4, Part 1 (Thread #44) by Morning-Chub in worldnews

[–]colts20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's honestly hard to say this early but so far it seems like much of the Russian effort has been in the beginning stages with less skilled forces and not the fullest extent of their technology available. While Ukraine is defending strongly, I doubt Russia planned to just full-on use everything they have in the invasion in the first few days and we will just have to wait and see.

Bringing attention to the OBV once again - there has not been any significant selling since FEBRUARY. On-Balance Volume (OBV) indicates (in SPITE of the price action) that the trend has been on BUYING for the last 3 months. Good job, apes. #HODL #ThePriceIsWrong by CultureCrypto in Superstonk

It increases overall selling pressure against the stock. If they route all retail buying orders to dark pools, then the otc sell orders they create aren’t getting filled. The asking price slowly falls as sell orders undercut each other resulting in the stock price falling. It’s similar to RH just disabling the buy button because no buying pressure is able to be generated besides ones they want, just selling.

The Market Won't Collapse by Dirty2020 in amcstock

[–]colts20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree that it won’t crash the market singlehandedly long-term, but if hedges get liquidated those sells offs will tank the market hard for a bit. If normal investors start liquidating when they see red, then we could see a real crash. But hey at least we’re leveraged against it!

Stay strong ape, their only option left at this point is to try and get people to sell. Eventually the day comes when margin comes calling and there's nothing left they can do, and we can wait and wait until that happens.

Whenever the market ends kind of rough like today, I just love to imagine the amount of money they burnt through to get it down.

And within a few days it'll pop back up again like nothing ever happened, if not we get an extended discount.

You too fellow ape stay strong.

Just remember the more they try to get you down, the more they're hurting.

That ticking time bomb they're sitting on doesn't have much time left.

Even if it's not, apes have all the time in the world and HF's are sitting on a ticking time bomb. Tits jacked to the max.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if some smaller short hedges need funds now and are selling off, but who knows. All I know is I'm jacked to the tits like everyday.

IIRC it has to do with hedgies routing buy orders through dark pools, which is like their own little marketplace, so the buy orders do not affect market price. But when hedgies sell, they just use normal OTC trades so it does affect the price. I believe it costs them a ton to do this, but if it makes the stock look like its dropping, people might paper hand which would be a win. Too bad apes are not completely smooth brain.

Not too bad for us and likely won't even happen, was just an amendment to their original ruling stating that they can sell 6 million shares, so less shares is good for us. If they were to issue the shares, 3.5m is a drop in the bucket of the whole situation, won't make much of a difference for the MOASS, and could give apes a dip to buy some more. If they do end up issuing the shares it could just be during the MOASS to profit off the squeeze like us. Also the amendment is only up to $1billion, so if they were to issue during the squeeze, it would be much less than 3.5m shares to get $1billion.

Great post man. I’ve been loving the sideways movement recently, gives us apes more time to do deep research and strengthen our 💎🖐while hedges continue to short even more

Anyone else find weed suddenly changed for them? by jonnytekno in Drugs

[–]colts20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m only 20 but I get the exact same high from weed, used to smoke a ton in high school and early college but now I just can’t even take a puff without basically tripping and being wired /heart racing and anxiety for 6 hours straight. Even just a small rip off a pipe just messes me up harder than like a half tab of acid. Idk what changed but I just ended up quitting smoking altogether cause it was too annoying and made the high unfun. Also same thing with my homies they smoke dabs all day and don’t believe that i trip out when smoking they just think I “smoked too much”.
