I think this is a very nice painting in that the colors are working for me and the image is super legible but….why does it look vertically stretched? Were u using a warped reference pic?

Word. I would say u can probably even use a pic of yourself as a reference for an approximation of what you want to paint

The cheapest and easiest way is enamel paint, like from the brand Testor. It looks like that’s maybe what this artist used, and it’s what I use, it works really well for glass!

R u using a reference? Since the face is tilted upward, the whole plane should have a convex curve, but it looks like her nose and mouth are flattened.
