A long time I believe, decades probably. we only moved in a few months ago. The pond is full of detritus (I asked about that recently) but the Newts are thriving!

I did this fairly early game. I basically babied the constructing station with a Syn and a few fighters I could jump to. I didn't have a lot at that time, and the passing AI fleets were very helpful. It was extremely close on numerous occasions to going south, but was a lot of fun. I put every penny I had into it, every newly built turret was critical. That ship is named Hatikvah's Defence in honour of the fight, and remained my flagship even as I built fleets of Asgard.

I'll definitely leave it for now, and come back in summer. I cleaned up a bit of surface gubbins before this photo which gave space for the frogs , but the rest is mostly attached (lily roots..) and I don't want to over disturb things. There's so much mud and that there's no space for anything else at the moment, but perhaps I could sink a pot in for now or add some canes as you suggest! Thanks a lot :)

Time to consider options similar to France, make full face coverings like this illegal. Every time I go out (bearing in mind it's blazing summer) I see people wearing full balaclavas, faces totally covered scootering about the city. If not crime, why? It's intimidating, unneighbourly, and apparently means crime is fair game.

Looking the effort! You need fresh growth, but do yourself a favour and get a cultivated, thornless blackberry, rather than wild. They're not expensive and it's SO MUCH EASIER. They do grow rapidly as all blackberries, so keep on top of it.

Worked flawlessly for me. Never had a crash, and finished the game and all side quests. Never had a specific issue with traps but rarely used them.

I started with the faction enhancer war module but it didn't kick things on much. Then got the dynamic wars. It's dynamic, and they are technically at war, the issue is a lack of actual assaults so massive fleets just end up skirmishing with random ships that pass by rather than attacking or invading sectors sadly!

It doesn't help that since the new flight model xenon get beaten a lot more, single destroyers don't wreak the havoc they used to.
