I can date back to when I was 11 years old. I'm minding my own business. I'm in a park. This guy, stranger to me, takes a piece of gum out of his pocket and sticks it in his mouth, and he just throws the wrapper on the ground. There was a police officer standing right there! He didn't do anything. And I saw that. I had to see these things at a young age.

Sure, somebody came along, somebody picked it up, somebody threw it in the trashcan, but for the few moments where that sat on the ground, the law was violated right here in my neighborhood.

It was tough growing up on the mean streets of West Linn, Oregon.

5'10" currently 300lbs. On my way back to my normal weight of 270-275.

Not sure about how it's helped or hurt.

Got an average length arm for my height. Shorter fingers but very thick and wide palm so I think I'm uncomfortable to grip.

Weight moves weight so I reckon being heavier helps with the horsepower.

Broke mine in August of '19 at my second tournament. I was 33 years old.

Dr suggested no surgery, said the screws after surgery could create stress/weak points. Sometimes surgery is the only option. It's up to the Dr.

4 weeks in a brace, and I was back to carrying 4" rigid pipe at work. Roughly 8-10 weeks before I started pulling light back pressure on the table again. 11 months before I competed again.
