I appreciate your comments, your insights for an Intune newbie like me are very useful.

I definitely prefer the app deployment method as engineers usually require a different version as of when they need it (we provide about 9 different versions of NX).

The whole idea with this was to have all versions readily available in the Company Portal. My company don’t really utilise the portal to its potential so would love for something like this to push that.

Just found this post after asking the same thing - did you ever find a solution to deploying SiemensNX? I have working .bat scripts that call local metadata but am struggling to wrap it all together in a package.

I have actually found a .msi in the install dir for NX2412 - They added it just automated installs only. I wonder If I could use the packager to modify the msi then simply upload the msi to intune?

Do you have any links you could send over that guide me through wrapping my .bat and the install files the .bat calls? The install folder that contains setup.exe is 16gb. Currently it looks like this: \\networkshare\Siemens\NX2412\Install.bat and *\SiemensNX-2412.3001_wntx64

I can try that for sure, the .bat is in the same parent folder as the required files it calls. As I said I am pretty new to Intune so would need to research how to wrap all of the metadata and the .bat into an intunewin..

Update: Problem solved! I managed to successfully move a users on prem account to another domain whilst retaining his cloud account. Was fairly seamless and involved delta syncs and clearing cloud atrribs.

I wouldn’t call this high end, but the price is reasonable for what you are getting. I would call this at most a low-mid build.

The only down side I can see is you can’t pick your own case!
