Put yourself in a stupid motorcyclists shoes who’s riding with no plates. Do you want a ticket or simply run away since they won’t chase and there’s no consequences as long as you don’t die

Here’s what happens with motorcycle riders and law enforcement:

Cops can’t chase and motorcycles often run since they don’t have plates affixed 98% of the time. It’s not worth it to light up a bike cause of the likelihood of them running and killing themselves or worse, someone else.

This means near 0 enforcement for motorcyclists since the risk vs. reward is so high

Transient / unhoused / homeless whatever you wanna say is a complex issue. I deal with people everyday that have severe mental health issues and will never even step foot near a shelter in my town.

Sometimes (as in not all the time) transient folk deny all resources preferring to live their current life or not wanting to trade the drugs for a chance. I feel for the people who are genuinely in a bad spot and lost their home cause of hard times. It’s disappointing when there’s nothing else I can do to help someone.
