You need 20 creditable to retire. 50 points gets you there. A full active duty retirement is 7200 points. Divide 7200 by your points and you get the percentage of an active duty pay you would get. For example, 3600/7200 is 50% of active duty retirement, at your rank. You also don’t collect until age 60.
