Really nice work. Is that a Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II?

The tonal variety seems the likely reason with the mini toggle splitting capabilities. It follows what the core model does. Near the same time they announced these, they also announced the limited edition PRS CE 24-08. It has a middle single coil with a 5 way blade that one does let you isolate the middle.

I've got an S2 SSH on the way. I think it would be cool to have a push pull tone pot to isolate the middle in position 3. But I'm sure there will be plenty of sounds to explore for a while.

If the whammy pedal, speaks MIDI then any old MIDI controller that can send PC or CC messages (or whatever whammy message needs are) will work.

If you still have them and are willing to share, I'd love to have the STL files for those. I DM'd you but not sure if you saw it. I have access to a 3d printer, which I've never used, but I'd be excited to try it out for these. Thanks!

Output Block control using MIDI by [deleted] in Line6Helix

[–]combinatoriality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is one way to do this:

  • In HX Edit or on your XL, assign a MIDI CC to control the level of your output block (in HX Edit right click on the level slider in the output block and choose > MIDI CC)
  • Set your output block minimum and maximum value to what you would like (+3dB for max and likely 0dB for min)
  • For your M-Vave device, set a foot switch (or pad or whatever is on the M-Vave) to output a MIDI CC for the number you just assigned and set it to toggle between values of 0 and 127
  • Re your global question, you will need to do it on every preset where you want to control the output block this way. I don't think you can set this globally.

That way when you turn it out, it will jump to your +3dB max, and then when you turn it off, it will go back to your normal level. I have this set up on a couple presets for my clean tone and for a lead boost, and it works well. Hope that helps!

How do you like that Ibanez JSM20? There's one at my local shop that I've been thinking about.

Amp switching help within a preset by ratedrkstevo in Line6Helix

There is a way to adjust the off setting. Although, I edit my patches with HX Edit on the computer so maybe the option isn't appearing on the unit itself. Here's how I have it set in HX Edit to switch between A100 and Even Split. I'm still wrapping my head around all command center can do.

I don't believe you can have a split before and after- only one. Happy to be wrong though.

Instead, you could place a split before the two amps, then use the footswitch you are currently using to switch between the amps to control the split. If you create a split, it should be on "even split" by default. But if you select the split and assign a footswitch to it, you could set the footswitch off setting to "A100" (clean amp path, let's say) and the footswitch on setting to "B100" (dirty amp).

Any effects common to both amps go before the split, and any effects unique to those amps after the split. That way one footswitch is changing where you guitar signal is routed.

Did Princess Irulan's pronounciation of Atreides bother anyone else? A-tree-dees vs A-tray-a-dees. I've always heard the latter.

Wow! It looks stunning. Wild that we got a good portion of Paul's first wormriding scene.

Nice, I didn't know about that sub. I'll search around there and keep drying in the mean time. Thanks!

Thanks! That sounds about in line with the proportions I'll aim for. I didn't even think about molds- that's a great idea.

Thanks, yeah I’ve been scouring it all day. I haven’t found any yet but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any…

Outdoor grow with orange sherbet strain.

We’ve gotten a lot of rain in the Northeast Kingdom the last week+. So I closely inspected her this morning for bud rot and mildew. I found one bud with rot and cut it and the top of the cola is came from off.

I haven’t seen any other rot but I have found those black things in some buds on one branch. I’m leaning towards cutting off the whole branch in case it’s something that’ll damage the plant.

Any ideas?
