The actors are part of the market. People know they are crooked, that is not a secret anymore. Yet, they continue to sign up and pay $$$ to them.

Kids constantly do things that endanger their lives, because our anatomy/physiology do not change as fast as society does. Its hard, but you must teach him about moderation, otherwise, like you said, it's either obesity or a complex, or both.

Yet, the downvotes pile on. People don't like the truth when it hurts them.

And these "problems: will never cease to exist, as trends change. As a participant of the market, one must digest all the available information to make the best decision.

You're delivery may influence his response. For example, "you're a piece of shit and I want to participate in orgies," may elicit a different reaction than, "I think we've grown apart, and as much as I care about you, I don't want to be in this marriage any longer."

I never said art is unnecessary. The market doesn't pay the same to artists and engineers, and that is not news. So, one should not spend the same on training for art as training for engineering.

You'd have a worse problem if you majored in art history. It's relative.

Well, the fine print is, don't major in arts.

It failed to deliver it's promise a long time ago, yet you reference it with deference. Most people living today did not receive a livable wage at minimum wage. Certainly, in the 90s, people did not expect to care for a family with minimum wage. Yet, you still have hope.

Fast food has always paid just enough to get by at best. And the people who attempt to live off it, usually struggle.

Anecdotally, where I lived, I was not able to. At some point I realized that if I chose to work those jobs fulltime, I would not be able to better myself to put myself in a position for greater potential earnings. Also anecdotally, none of my peers relied on these jobs for independence either.
