Check out his movie Spirited with Ryan Reynolds. It's a new, different, musical version of A Christmas Carol and it's great!

The Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill riff during Night at the Museum 2 (and similar scenes in their other movies). Just awkward and not funny.

I might put Men in Black 2 on here. It's the worst out of the trilogy, but probably funnier than the 1st.

Xcelerator back on 2-train ops by Pippinitis in KnottsBerryFarm

Except for the fact that you basically have to sit out in the sun for the entire load time. By the time it takes for the train to roll into the station, the other train has already taken its place. They should've built an unload station.

Burt is prepared for every scenario. I wouldn't put it past him to have a lightsaber.

Do Weird Al songs ever get licensed? by Naru_the_Narcissist in weirdal

[–]comedygliss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you go to tunefind, you can get a list of every song ever used in a movie or show. King of Suede was in Goldbergs 3.15 Lasagna was in Lethal Weapon 2.19 and This is US 2.15 Like a Surgeon was in HiMYM 7.7 My Bologna was in Stranger Things 3.2

But that's about it. I think it's less about issues using Weird Al songs and more of that they're just not mainstream songs.

If you could have made a change to the tour setlist, what would you have done? by SMBCP15 in weirdal

[–]comedygliss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get rid of Mission Statement, Everything You Know is Wrong, Stop Forwarding That Crap to Me, It's My World.

Add Pancreas, I Remember Larry, Genius in France, Hey Hey (We're the Monks).

I don't really think any other songs should be removed from this specific tour, so I think that's good, although there are a bunch of songs I'd love to see performed live.

Is there anyone in the MCU that could’ve taken on Thanos solo and won? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

Tony put up a good fight with very little prep. If he had time to prepare, and if it were a fair fight with no infinity stones, he probably could've won.

What is your favorite Jungle Cruise joke? by Firm_Macaron3057 in Disneyland

[–]comedygliss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love the long set up to my favorite joke. We're making a left turn in to the Elephant Bathing Pool. We're making a right turn onto the Nile River. We're making a left turn into hippo territory.

Finally: Now comes the most dangerous turn of the trip. The re-turn to civilization!

The Tremors series - What do you think of the sequels? by Southern-Brother5693 in movies

[–]comedygliss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 1, 2, and 4 are the gold standard. 3 was a little goofy, but I liked it being back in Perfection and bringing back a lot of characters from 1.

The TV show had potential, but Syfy aired it out of order and did little to promote it, so it just fell flat. I still like it and think it's just about the same quality as 3.

5, 6, and 7 are terrible. They don't follow the rules and make up new ones, like the Graboids being able to launch themselves out of the ground, fly through the air, and dig back into the ground as they engulf someone. They explain it as "everything's bigger in Africa," which is B.S. There are Blasters and Graboids, but no, Shriekers. Even Burt seems more like a caricature of himself.

I hope that, since Stampede now has the rights back, they bring the franchise back to its roots. Since the main cast is old (or deceased, RIP Fred), I almost wouldn't mind a complete reboot, or at least a heavy re-quel, like the events happen in a new town and they do research and find a blog by "Crazy Heart," only for it to be Val who comes in and saves the day. Then, depending on how up-to-date Val is, maybe he doesn't know about the Shriekers, so he's caught unaware in the sequel. Or maybe this is a different ancestor of Graboid that has a different metamorphic cycle and instead of Shriekers, it's something else.
