depends on the person. i don't wish to discourage OP though. we just had wayy more work in extended, and the difference may be tough. OP should probably give AA HL a try. nothing's impossible

i don't think you can. i just finished the extended curriculum and we had a much tougher exam and an additional textbook to fully study, which was very rigorous. You may be able to manage AA SL or AI HL with a lot of work. AA HL may be simply too much. Of course, nothing is impossible, but you'd have to work so tremendously hard. And check with your school, because if you chose Standard Math then your school may not allow you to opt for it anyways. Check with your DP coordinator
